Hi and welcome to the first and only FLORIDA PUBLISHED AUTHOR TOUR GROUP information page.

   
This page is still under construction but soon I will have a full listing of each author, a picture of their book's cover, their ISBN numbers and their web page address or link. All the authors listed in this group are very talented and have written wonderful works of art. Heck, we even have an author among our group who's book is being made into a movie!

This group contains everything a reader would like to read. From Romance to poetry to sports to children's and spiritual. We have all the genre's covered so get ready for one heck of an experience. Weather it be fiction or nonfiction or anything else, we got it covered!

News to share

This was just sent to me by one of my friends. I don't know who the author is that wrote this but I am glad I am considered a heavy hitter and was nominated. I just wanted to share.

One of my writing buddies and authors just found this great thing on me that I didn't even know I was even in the running. And I came out in second place!!!!

Nominated in Erotic Showdown


On Publisher's Market Blog Entry June 19, 2007 , Bill Stephens writes about erotica and his experience reading then in the past compared to the erotica now. He then goes to nominate several well known authors :

  • Skylar Sinclair
  • Tiva Wallon
  • Charlene Leatherman
  • Skyler Grey
  • Gwen Master
  • Jenifer Macaire
And then at the very last of this listing is little ole me! OMG!
 
I mean these are some heavy hitters when it comes to erotica, but what really shocked me was that I was the only black one. Although Charlene Leatherman didn't have a picture of herself on the website.
 
Me! I mean, I've known about Skylar and Skylar and I've heard a lot about Gwen, Tiva and Jenifer. This was so shocking and honoring at the same time.
 
Well I didn't win but I was nominated and that really perked my spirits up.

I've been getting lots of traffic to the site even though I'm not writing so I know you guys are still doing the word of mouth about me.

Another great honor

In yesterday's mail I received a letter from a teacher, (1 from her and one from the students) in Hampstead North Carolina. In her letter she states that she and her second grade class just finished reading my book, "Footsteps Through Time" and wanted to contact me. She told me that the kids loved the book and laughed so hard! Then she said one of her students said how fun it would be to see if they could send me a letter, ask me some questions and see if I would write back. They asked questions like where I live, what's the weather like and wanted to know if I would send a picture of Florida.

Being the creative photographer I am, I decided to make a small book with a bunch of pictures to share. Under each picture I wrote what it was about, where and when it was taken. I really had some fun with those pictures and I made it like it was a learning experience. For example, I gave them an interesting picture of a flamingo and asked if any of them knew how the bird got it's pink coloring. Little things like that.

I was very pleased to get the letter and was very honored that they thought so highly of my book and of me. I truly do feel blessed and when good things come my way I always say He is smiling upon me. Lately He's been doing a lot of smiling and I'm thankful!
