Tucker McGann spent nearly half his life married to the wicked bitch-of-the-east so when the right time came, he filed for divorce. He stayed around for a long time, hoping to clear his name and to prove to everyone he was innocent and his ex was the one cheating.
Through time and countless arguments Tucker realized he'd become a hermit; he suffered from depression and he was beginning to hate life. He had to get out and move far away from his ex and the horrible memories, endless lies and her constant torment. If he didn't he knew he was headed for self destruction and he wasn't going to give her the pleasure of causing him any more grief. Tucker knew the remote house would need many repairs but then he realized he could rebuild his life and his self esteem as he helped to rebuild his new home. He was hard every time she came around him and it was down right embarrassing! But he couldn't help but watch her and wonder what forbidden fruit would taste like. He couldn't eat or sleep because of her! Especially after seeing her naked in his hot spring! She was too curious, too friendly, smiled too easily and she was just too damn smart as well as beautiful and had a body that reminded him of a sweet slice of apple pie, ready to be eaten and savored in every way.
He thought she'd lost her mind when she came to him with rumored information claiming there were things in his attic that floated in the air, things that didn't have legs, lights that weren't really there and a hole in his roof that she'd fallen through and swore had magically sealed itself but not before she claimed someone inside was grabbing her legs. She even claimed part of him was disappearing! She was nuts!
Then when A.J. managed to cut the metal door down, they stepped into the room and realized there was some sort of mirrored doorway that led to another world. Tucker hoped for some excitement but he had no idea he was headed for the kind of adventure that lie before him. Sex was one thing but ET's and dimensional doorways were another!
A strange being from another dimension instructed A.J. to create a device to close the doorway. Her life depended on it for she either succeeded to live or failed and would not only die a painful death but condemn others to a fait worse than death.
No matter how good forbidden fruit tasted, how could Tucker get past the horrible evidence his own daughter provided him with? Evidence A.J. denied, claiming she kept no secrets from him. Slapped back in time Tucker could only relive the misery and drink himself into oblivion. He didn't care about anything except the relief he found in the bottle.
Then his meddling son discovered A.J.'s true secret. The secret she denied having and was far from the evidence his own daughter provided. Who to believe, what to believe and how was Tucker going to make amends and gain A.J.'s forgiveness when he all but destroyed her.
Could he make her realize how sorry he was for not trusting her or believing in her? How was he going to make her realize she completed him and without her, his life wasn't worth living? Only time would tell if he succeeded and they were meant to be together happily ever after.
